A new athletic event in Donoussa for the lovers of running and hiking on Saturday 28 October 2017!
We run the "Round of the island" in order to highlight the island's hiking trails, attract alternative tourism and spread the love message of nature and sport. For more information and details on the official website of the event: donoussatrailrunning.gr This magical moment when the seed becomes flower and the flower turns into a fruit.
The normal series of things. The grapes to become wine, the tomatoes and the peppers to decorate our salads, the figs to get dry so to eat them with our raki, the watermelons to take them with us on the beaches, to keep the seed from our grandfathers cucumbers, the pomegranates to grow up a little more so to drink their juices. These are the beauties of our summer! Like every year here in Donoussa we celebrate the 21st of June as the longest day of the year with our well-established small festival of the European Music Day!
From 19/6 to 23/6 at the village of Stauros! On the page of the Cultural Environmental Association of Donoussa POSEIDON you will see more details and program. Spring arrived in Donoussa and for those who have in mind the typical dry cycladic landscape its better to review! Excellent time for walking and for the first swimming of the year, as long as we start slowly slowly the preparations for the Easter. On Thursday, March 30th we expect our volunteers to improve and expand even more the network of the traditional paths of our island. Our guesthouse for another year with great joy is one of the residence sponsors!
